“Artemis”: The ancient Greek goddess of hunting, wilderness, animals and the Moon. She protected young women and was believed to both bring disease upon women and children and relieve them of it. She was one of Zeus‘s two favorite daughters. When she was asked to pick gifts from Zeus, she chose virginity, a bow, arrows, freedom in nature and wilderness. Having extraordinary beauty, intelligence and independence, she was deeply in love with nature and lived unfettered life in the wild. Just like the charm of nature, she was powerful on the outside but also considerate on the inside.
